It is good to understand rules so you know how to break them and what effects it will have on the photo and the also the viewers perspective. 2. When applying the Rule of Thirds, how many sections do you create? how many intersections? There are nine sections and four intersections. 3. Why does placing the subject at the intersection or along a line feel more natural to the viewer? It gives a more balanced perspective. 4. When photographing a landscape, where should the horizon line be placed? The horizon line should either be at the 2/3rds mark or the 1/3. 5. What are two questions you might want to consider when composing an image? Where does my point of interest lie? Does it follow the rule of thirds?
